Fire Service Co-Responder : ウィキペディア英語版 | Fire Service Co-Responder
Seventeen Fire Services work with nine Ambulance Services to provide emergency medical cover in areas that have been identified as having a greater need for ambulance cover. The aim of a co-responder team is to preserve life until the arrival of either a Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV) or an ambulance. Co-responder vehicles are equipped with oxygen and automatic external defibrillation (AED) equipment. First Responder schemes are individuals in a community who when a medical emergency occurs can be called upon by the ambulance service to provide medical assistance until an ambulance arrives. Whilst this is similar to the role of the Fire Service in a Co-Responder role, they are different. ==Fire Services that run as Co-Responders in England==
